A few suggested rules for netnews administrators: 1) If you're running news version 2.10.1, make sure you have a version with the line-eater bug fixed. (If you're running the one from the 4.2BSD distribution, you don't have a version with the bug fixed.) If you aren't sure, ask your feed for help. 2) If you're feeding any sites, make sure they are running a version with the bug fixed. If you're running a later version than they are, and your version has it fixed (which, of course, it does, since you've already followed rule 1), get them to install that version. 3) If you're going to feed a new site, give them your current version (which doesn't have the bug, since you've already followed rule 1). If they're getting their news from any other source, make *sure* it has the bug fixed; if they're running 4.2BSD, make *VERY SURE* they don't run the version that came with 4.2BSD. Guy Harris
