The last person to make an unassisted triple-play was Ron Hansen of the
Washington Senators in 1968. He also hit a grand-slam the same week and
was promptly traded to the Chicago White Sox. I'm not sure exactly how
he did it, but they're all usually the same: infielder catches a line
drive, steps on second to get the guy who has left for third, and then 
tags the guy coming from first.
