Watson's "Play of the Hand at Bridge", for everything from basic strategies to squeezes and coups. This book was written eons ago, but most everything in it still applies today. There is an updated version out now in paperback (edited and modernized by Sam Fry, Jr.) Most of what this book has in it is useful no matter what kind of bridge you play. For a complete duplicate background, you could supplement this book with something specifically oriented towards playing duplicate. --Greg -- {ucbvax!hplabs | allegra!nbires | decvax!noao | harpo!seismo | ihnp4!noao} !hao!woods CSNET: woods@NCAR ARPA: woods%ncar@CSNET-RELAY
