Message-ID: <19000002@inmet.UUCP> Date: Tue, 11-Jun-85 20:51:00 EDT Article-I.D.: inmet.19000002 Posted: Tue Jun 11 20:51:00 1985 Date-Received: Sun, 23-Jun-85 02:37:49 EDT Lines: 26 Nf-ID: #N:inmet:19000002:000:852 Nf-From: inmet!tower Jun 11 20:51:00 1985 Our 6-year-old Minox 35EL has developed a shutter problem. The shutter sticks, usually closed but sometimes open. A repairman unstuck it temporarily (lasted a few months) and said a real repair would involve sending it for a new shutter mechanism, about $60. The camera cost about $200 new, 6 years ago. Questions: 1. Has anyone else had this problem? Suggestions on solving it? 2. If we decide to replace it rather than repair it, what is a good very small and lightweight camera? (We use the Minox as a pocket camera when we don't want to carry our big 35mm.) Please mail me replies. I'll summarize to USENET, if there is interest. Thanx, Len Tower Intermetrics, Inc.
