I am looking for information about underwater photography.  If you
have any insights useful to a beginner, let me know.  I am
especially interested in equipment recommendations.  I  am
considering the Nikonos V with 35mm f2.5 as a possible camera. 
Another possibility is an IR autofocus point and shoot (Nikon
L35AF, Canon Super Sure Shoot, etc.) land camera in a housing.
