Isn't looking at how G-D has controlled the destinies of the various nations of the world also a legitimate way of seeing how He runs the world? In fact this is an accepted interpretation of G-D's reply to Moses "only my back shall be seen" when Moses asks of G-D "let me see your glory ". Ari Gross
