She was described as being the original wife of Adam, who was cast out for opposing his will, after which the folklore attributed several bad characteristics to her. We were wondering how accurate a description this is, and even if this was invented by Ms Chicago, since I can find no mention of her in the Bible, and I am (obviously) not much of a scholar.
