Lines: 49 Here's a topic I'd liketo see get a little coverage here in singles. I have asked ladies out a few times and gotten turned down. (Don't get smart. I don't get turned down all the time. Nor are my offers to take a lady out always accepted.) What happened to me once was quite noteworthy though. I asked her out and she declined on the grounds that she'd just started going out with some guy and felt she should give him a chance. According to her, he might be a nice guy and she wanted the time to decide (a few dates with him) how they were gonna get along. I liked her attitude ( beats the hell out of "Get lost shmuck!") and didn't feel "shut down". There have been a few times (I imagine for a lot of guys, not just me) when the women was just plain insulting. This lady was quite nice about it. Anyone got any comparable stories. I'd also like to see a list of the most often used "turn downs". Lady, if you kiss me you'll live forever. The strange side effect is that you may turn into a frog, but you'll live forever. Best wishes, T. R. Frye
