I've heard my share of "cute" opening lines, and
some of them have even gotten into my personal
Hall of Fame.  But the best approach to me, that
always impresses me the most, is simply saying
"Hi!" with a friendly, open, warm attitude.
If I sense someone is scared to death and
hiding behind a witty line, it really doesn't
make me want to open up either.

Simplicity is style.
