For instance, If Dave Kingman can only DH in 40 games, and might therefore have to actually pick up a glove at some point? This rule would still remove the freiks, but would keep the extra offense the DH provides. If used in this manner, it would allow a manager to periodically rest all of his players by allowing them to be a DH for a day. I picked 40 as an arbitrary number, but I felt that it would be to much for a team to carry 4 specific DH'ers. My $.02. Roger L. Mills
