That is such a Ted thing to do!  (I'm surprised it's not an ad for WTBS or CNN.)
I can speak for Shea and Yankee Stadium, I have never seen an ad on the tarps
there, but I have never seen one.  Not even the one in Atlanta.  I don't
see why not.  It's a  large piece of advertising space.  Use it!
