Some people love him, some people hate him. I wouldn't have bothered making friends with him, but I'd have chosen him to play on any team, any season. So after Rose breaks Cobb's record, the last big untouchable records are in pitching right. You think anyone will win 61 games in a season, or pitch 757 strikeouts in a season, or 113 shutouts in a lifetime, or 513 wins in a lifetime, or pitch 780 complete games? I suppose that Hack Wilson's RBI record will be a little tough to break.
