This was in today's (6/4) USA Today about the Consumer Electronics Show
in Chicago.

Star Trek: The Kobayashi Alternative.
Here's some good news for Trekkies:  Simon and Shuster has come up with an
interactive text adventure (you direct the action) that lets you play the
role of Capt. James T. Kirk.  It's a mystery space-battle game that requires
diplomacy -- along with the might of the Starship Enterprise.  It will be
in stores in October for IBM PC/PC-XT/PCjr; Commodore and Apple II computers;
$39.95.
