Can anyone help me with the following:

	1) How tall is William Shatner (in real life)?
	2) How tall is James T. Kirk supposed to be?
	3) How tall is T.J. Hooker supposed to be?

I was told that Bill (I guess I can call him Bill since I've seen
him many times on TV) is quite short and that he uses special shoes
and that special lenses are used to make him look much taller.  Any
facts to clarify these conceptions?
