I have not used troff and we don't have ditroff here. However, I am willing
to write   pic commands to generate a picture. I would like to include that
picture in the  scribe  output to Imagen laser printer. The straightforward
way would be
 
       input ==> pic ==> (di)troff ==> catdvi ==>dviimp ==> output  

and include the output in the scribe file using @picture command (?). 

First, has anybody with ditroff tried this?
Does anybody have program(s) that translate pic files to Impress?
Are there any other easier alternatives?
