I realize that zero length .o files don't belong in a .a library, but I'd expect more than do-do as a diagnostic. Is LD(1) bellyaching about the troublesome .o or about the entire .a ? If its the .o, it should mention its name. I run Uniplus+ 5.1 Unix. Any BSD people experiencing this ?
