Two of our potential vendors are Pyramid and CCI. The machines under consideration are the Pyramid 90x and the CCI Power 6/32. It has been very difficult to find unbiased third party opinions. If there is anyone who has had experience with either of these vendors, I would appreciate any information/opinions that you might be willing to pass on. I am particularly interested in items such as hardware reliability, and vendor responsiveness. P.S. This project will need to support a large number of very sizable databases. Projected total database requirements are 35 Gbytes. Thanks in advance for any help, -- Jim Gregory pthya!jdg {ihnp4,ucbvax,cbosgd,decwrl,amd,fortune,zehntel}!dual!pthya!jdg Pacific Bell, San Ramon, California
