Be prepared for warm (not hot) days ... 65 to 80 degrees.
And mild nights ... low 50's to low 60's. You will be down town 
next to the Willamette river. The big buildings and the river make for
a nice "short" thermometer.

Bring an umbrella for the odd shower. The Marriott and the Civic
Auditorium are within walking distance. 

Forget about swimming in the river.
