One of the local rags, "The New Haven Advocate", reported that there
is expected to be a shortage in video tapes in a few months!! I went
out and bought up a handful but Sunday's papers still have the
various discount stores still selling cheap VCR tapes, some even
with rebates. Has anyone else heard this rumor? The article
indicated a shortage of the plastic casings rather than the tapes
themselves would cause higher prices. Maybe its only Beta vs VHS or
visa versa?
