My apologies to any helpful soul who tried to respond to my request.
As a first time user of the Net, I didn't realize that my address

Now, my original message:
I wish to send info electronically to friends at IBM
(VN or VNET, I think) and to XEROX.  Are their machines
in any way hooked into the ARPANET system ?  If so,
please provide an example of how to route a message.
