In fact, why anybody would ever be interested in any cola drink transcends my powers of comprehension, but that's another matter. What I do recognize, however, is a sales promotion campaign when I see it. Whether Coca Cola "yields to public pressure" and goes back to the old formulation, or sticks to their guns with the new, or doubles their main product line by going both ways at once, this campaign will go down in the annals of hucksterism is the most legendarily effective promotion ever -- much of it coming from free publicity.
