	Because of an unfortunate incident involving software piracy,
Reed College has removed itself from Usenet until further notice.  This
means that we won't be hearing any more from Ellen Eades, at least for a
while.  I didn't always agree with her, but her articles were consistently
thought-provoking, and I will miss her.
	I don't want to get into the details of the incident that caused
Reed to take itself off the net, because this isn't the right newsgroup.
If you're interested, you can read about it in net.micro.mac.  I just hope
that the whole mess will be straightened out soon.
