UTCS Presents a seminar on UTS/V, Amdahl's Mainframe UNIX

Speaker: Bruce Stewart, Amdahl Canada

Details: Tuesday, 2 July, 14:00. McLennan Physics (60 St. George) Room 134

Mr. Stewart will discuss Amdahl's port of UNIX to the /370 architecture
including problems unique to the architecture and to the large-scale
mainframe environment and co-existing with IBM software. The uucp
and other network software will be discussed, and there will be
a question and answer period.
