At the time of the MicroVAX II announcement, Digital made a "program
announcement" that there would be MicroVAX II configurations offered 
in the near future that support the RA81, as well as the RA80 and 
RA60 disk drives. The program announcement means that price and
availability were not announced, but the intention to offer these
configurations were announced. At that time, it was said that the 
actual announcement was expected to be made this summer sometime.
