There seems to be a consensus that disconnecting the shield near the end of one of the interconnect cables may provide a solution, but there seems to be a difference of opinion as to where the break should be located. Should I put it near the source or sink end of the cables? Should I just experiment and see what works best? Maybe I should take a vote.....
