I dont think anyone would care if you use a mixture in a car without a catalytic converter, that can legally use leaded fuel. But use leaded fuel in a car with a catalytic converter just once, and the catalytic converter is destroyed for ever. Catalytic converters are designed to protect the environment against Carbon monoxide, nitros oxide and hydrocarbons.
