I'm in the process of planning a bicycle trip with two other people
to England and France for the month of September.  Any insights, tips,
recommendations?  

We're specifically interested in hearing about places to stay (campgrounds, 
hostels) and touring in general.  One of us speaks French which I hope is
a plus.
