Must be a market somewhere.) But, I have also stepped on a snail barefoot. This was a much more unpleasant experience, as the snail shell broke the skin. This planted some mold fibers from the snail under the skin. It proceeded to act like violent atheletes foot for about 9 months. After several creams, ointments, Dr. visits, etc. I finally cured it with Micatin ointment 3x a day and wearing open shoes (sandels). This was a truely bizarre experience that I hope to never repeat. (I was down to the last available brand of goop by the time it was cured. Seems that the stuff liked to develop imunity ... ) -- E.
