Obviously the flow control is an old problem. I am happy to avoiid the use of ^S and ^Q; the question is what can I bind them to (in Gosling 4.2) to make them "work" as flow control? To whom can I send mail to find out: (1) What is GGNU Emacs? (2) How can I get it to Ithaca, NY (3) How can I get TeX so I'll be able to format the manual? Norman
