Has anyone else >had any such problems or is this just the UPS assholes here in Reading? > Joseph M. Dakes Why, just the other day I had a very similar problem with UPS. I have vowed not to deal with them in them in the future. I ordered a C compiler and had been waiting for delivery when I got a call from the software house saying that the lowlifes at UPS had returned my package to them after 3 (uh-huh) tries at delivering it. They didn't even leave one of their little notes. I asked the people to send it back. As soon as UPS got its hands on my package the same thing began to happen. This time, however, they left a note. I work full time, and when I called them they said that they would only hold it at the local office which was quite far away and impossible for me to get to before they closed. In addition, they refused to send it to a downtown location that was more accessible. Eventually they caught one of my roommates at home. The moral of this story is that if you work and if you are not in a rush, use USnail. -- James Cooper ..!ihnp4!gargoyle!sphinx!wjnz "I, know a girl from Baltimore... Can she dance?"
