I have been making mail order purchases since I was a wee child (a long, long time ago). In fact I have bought almost everything I own that way and UPS is far superior to US parcel post, Railway Express (now defunct), and miscellaneous trucking outfits. I could expound for days on my horrific experiences but I won't bore everyone.
