Part of our entertainment consisted of watching visiting HQ people try to cross the street. Yes, CA is different. My father-in-law was visiting us and decided to walk to some stores. A bus stopped next to him, and the driver asked him whether he was walking to the bus stop. As the song goes: "Nobody Walks in LA."
