Yes Why must people do this?? It seems that I've seen this in several different newsgroups. Why must a long article be taken off the net, then reposted wholly by some random person who just wants to show his or her agreement with one word? This causes useless overhead. I know that net-etiquette dictates that you post enough of the article you're replying to for clarification purposes, but I'm sure that there are enough people out there in net land that agree with a posting.
