I too would like to see more discussion of board games in this newsgroup. I wonder if the nature of boardgames is such that we can sustain interest in it. If you'll notice, most of the postings in this newsgroup seem to be of the form: "hints wanted on blah" (or at least that's been my impression). We've sustained a good discussion on good first moves in Diplomacy in net.games.pbm but I'm not sure if the diverse nature of board games will allow that kind of discussion since you have to own a game before you can talk about it.
