I think Fantasy Hero is a very well-designed game, well-integrated with the other Hero Games and not prone to many of the weaknesses seen in D&D and AD&D. If nothing else, it has benefited from Hero Games' experience in other genres and the years of experience RPG players have had with other fantasy games. NOW IF ONLY HERO GAMES WOULD GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER!!!!!!! The game may be wonderful, but the paste-up of the Fantasy Hero book is abominable. Absolutely no one proofread this sucker. Every other page has some annoying slip-up on it somewhere. Since I am very familiar with other Hero Games products, these didn't interfere with playing the game at all, but they did keep me in a state of aggravation while reading. If anyone did have problems with understanding the rules, mail me or send questions to the net. I will also give another review of the game if enough people ask... Jim Gardner, University of Waterloo
