Well, we are running 4.2 BSD and had similar problems with updating to
version 1.0.3:
Using the original unpacked files to generate the source
files, hack.tty.c and hack.trap.c did not get modified correctly by ed
(ed tried to changes lines that did not exist). Also, many other files
had multiple syntax errors.
