For instance, there has been a posting indicating that reading a scroll of enchant armor while confused will rustproof your armor. I have yet to try this. I would be interested in hearing about other such "tricks" and will post a summary if it appears worthwhile. Is there really a silver lining around these dark clouds? What good is levitating? The only time it has been good for me is when I had to float above a cockatrice corpse, but I gather that it useful in other ways.
