A recent article re "Disillusionment with a Usenix Tutorial" brought to
mind a newly formed UNIX training company that I have had some experience
with - Pipeline Associates - and which I would recommend to anyone seeking
experienced and high-caliber training personnel. Both the founders (Steve
Kochan & Pat Wood) have good credentials in the UNIX system and the C Language,
as displayed in their books and backgrounds. They are based in New York City
(a suburb of New Jersey) and are not averse to travel: (212) 598-4650 is their

Although this an is unsolicited expression  and is meant as a sharing of my
experience with the net, if Wood Kochan read this, I could be persuaded to accept
a FREE copy of their new book about the UNIX shell.
