The only reference that I can find is in the termcap/terminfo "equivalence" list that was posted some time back, the gives the terminfo keys cnorm, civis, and cvvis and the tercap equivalents ve, vi, and vs. Is this use of these caps well understood? The manual page describes vs and ve as "entering/leaving open/visual mode", which is a rather subjective description. What is the correct interpretation for vs/ve, and if its more than just setting cursor attributes, is there a cap to set the cursor attributes? "vi" will do to make the cursor invisible, as I don't see it being used elsewhere. Lyle McElhaney
