I didn't know this, but the epidemic hit the Temple U. philosophy dept. when I was in grad school a few years ago. We kept entries posted on the bulletin board, and there were *hundreds* of them. While I'm on the subject, here are a few more: LET THE PUNISHMENT FIT THE CRIME: Attorneys should be distorted. Geometricians should be expostulated. Borland Pascal compilers should be disturbed. Mountain climbers should be disgorged. Seismologists should be dismantled. People who spit should be disputed. Wearers of leather should be dissuaded.
