In Britain, the game of Snooker, (which is akin to pool) has been widely
televised since colour televisions have been in the majority of homes.

A few years ago during a Snooker Tournament, the commentator made the
following remark, which may not be verbatim, but close enough to give the
correct idea, about a shot that one of the players was about to make:

"...and for those of you with black and white sets, the pink is behind the
blue"
