These are known as "Phil D. Basket" jokes - remember anyone, or are you
all younger than ** out there!  Started I believe by an anti-littering campaign
reported by the Washington Post, continued with great flourish by the
Manchester Graudian [sic] in the UK - about 15 years ago.
