One detail that I left out on my deuna problem is that it was last on
the unibus:

	SI disk controller
	3 DEC DZ's
	1 EMULEX 16 port DH
	1 EMULEX 16 port DMF32
	a jumper to an expansion unibus
	deuna

I then decided to move the deuna right after the SI disk controller
and it worked.......
