This is one of several conferences on the subject each year. Some of the best programs (AI) often don't present at SCAMC. There are also two good journals on the subject. The names are similar (computers in biomedicine, or biomedical research), but the one edited by Homer Warner is the best. Several laboratories, including ours, are devoted entirely to AI in medicine applications.
