 According to a note published in MACWORLD, By Peter Vaktor(July, 1985)

This is supposed to send line-feed codes along with carriage-return codes.

Poke 63066,0 to return to normal.

I tried this with a NEC Spinwritter, but had no luck.  Perhaps it will work
with your printer.
