For those of who have not seen the August issue of ANTIC,
here is a list and breif description of the major chips in the
520ST

1 2H-2123	Proprietary graphics controller (40 pin IC)
2 MC68B50P	Serial controllers. One for the MIDI, One for keyboard
1 YM2149 F	General Insturments sound chip (3 voices 30hz-20khz)
1 3H-2199BB	Proprietary Memory Controller (MMU ?)
1 MC68000P8     8 mhz processor
1 36-2120BC	Proprietary Glue Chip (Timing for everybody)
1 MC68901P  	Multifunctional Peripheral Controller (RS-232)
1 WD1772A-AH	Western Digital Floppy Controller
1 3H-2130CC	Proprietary DMA Controller

It should be obvious from the number and size of the Custom chips
that this computer has been under development a lot longer than one
would think. Two years ?
