I have macterminal 1.1 and it has never crashed!  It never has trouble reading
the config files either!  It works very well and my complaints deal with
the functionality of macterminal, not its performance.  I suggest if you
have a problem, it might be a bad disk or a dirty drive, or maybe a noisy
port!  Do you have trouble with any other terminal emulator program?  Try
something like mock-term or red ryder;  If these give the same problems, it
might not be macterminal's fault!
