I missed the benchmarks that were posted on different compilers, so I have to go on what vendors tell me. I want a compiler that is closest to working on UNIX, since I am familiar with it. It looks like Aztec comes the closest, with a "UNIX library...UNIX like shell...make, grep, diff." Consulair seems to have a nice compiler, but it looks bare without the additional tools. Before I plunk down $400+, does anybody have any comments? MANX also claims to have cross compilers for other computers. They sure seem to have a lot. Can it be true? (Desmet, what's that?) Please respond as you think it is appropriate. -- Terry Morse (408)743-1487 { seismo!nsc!cae780 } | { sun!sunncal } leadsv!morse
