Summary: 

According to a Usually Reliable Source, DRI has just laid off 40% (!!)
of its workforce.  Actually, fired is the more appropriate word.

I was just wondering what impact this wuld have on their product line
as I'm about to start a medium to large product using their GEM stuff.

Any comments or suggestions?
