Did anyone ever try it? > Did it work? Yes, beautifully. I have used the instructions posted here to upgrade 3 portable IBM PCs (they use the XT motherboard) and 2 XTs as well. It saves slots and works just fine. We used the "leftover" 64K chips to upgrade a couple of PCs that lacked full memory. > Does anyone have similar instructions for a "regular" PC?
